Stress eating

Stress a word that could be defined as an emotional response to any event or action that causes tension in our body or mind. The word could itself indicate how much harmful it can be .

There are eventually many types of stress but broadly can be defined as distress and eustress . Stress can lead to different reactions a person could perform and one of them is emotional or stress eating.

Basically emotional eating could be defined as eating due to a reaction to some event may it be good or bad . This could easily suggest that this type of eating is due to our emotions and not needed by our body.

Cause :

They main cause of emotional eating could be avoiding some stress or work that needed to be done . Sometimes it is due to people getting confused to take a firm decision or to make a good choice so they just try to stuff themselves with a pack of chips or some sweets etc. People basically avoid eating vegetables or fruits at this time they eventually binge eat high sugar or high fat foods. If we talk about signs then they would be binge eating after a fight, or in empty time, or while thinking, or listening to a good news etc.

How to stop it :

Their could be many methods to overcome emotional eating .

Firstly we could just analyse our root cause of problem then start working upon it . We could at maximum remove all the distractions or fast foods available in our surroundings. We can also keep some veggies as a good option already prepared to overcome our problem of stress eating. At last we can all improve ourselves no matter what happens and overcome our weaknesses easily if we decide to end them .
